Engineering at Bosch Rexroth

On 9th January Year 10 Engineering students visited Bosch Rexroth. The visit took place in the Bosch National Training Centre St Neots.

The students undertook a series of activities examining how hydraulic mechanisms and systems worked, and the Bosch Engineers introduced to the students their first piece of coursework.

Ernulf and Bosch have been working closely to produce an assessed unit of work which could be linked to the products Bosch are involved with.

Bosch Engineers talked to the Year 10 students about the London Eye and its component parts. The students really enjoyed the two visits and were able to return to the Academy with valuable research material to help them complete their coursework.

We would like to thank you Bosch for the support given to our Year 10 Engineering students.
