You will get extra support if you are struggling with your home learning, as well as have access to Teams and the rest of Microsoft Office 365.

Congratulations to our year 7 student Jez Sinclair Brown, who has recently joined the Norwich City Youth Academy!

Library Lockdown Latest


All loans from the school library have been automatically renewed while the school is closed. Please keep any books safe and return them when the school is back open. There will not be any reminders sent out during this time and definitely no fines. 


If you are looking for something to read as part of your home schooling here is a list of websites offering free books and comics. You will find the links on the school website. Click on the tab for students and at the bottom click on Library Book Search. This takes you to our library catalogue and in the news section click on Access to free books. (books for 13+ beginning 30th April)

Basketball triumph


Well done to the year 10 girls Basketball team, who won their district tournament!



Athletics Success for Sayer!

Well done to year 7 pupil Tilly Sayer, who recently qualified to run for Cambridgeshire at the Anglian Schools’ XC Championships!

Her next race is at Witham Way Country Park, Boston in February 2020.

Year 7 & 8 Football Victories vs Abbey


Congratulations to the year 7 & 8 boys football teams, who both beat the Abbey (Ramsey) in recent fixtures.

The year 7's won 2-1, whereas the year 8's won 3-1.




Badminton success 

Well done to our year 9 and 10 Badminton teams. On the 22nd January.


There was success for both the girls and boys teams, with the teams placing runners up and winners respectively!

The Ernulf bake off returns again between November 11th - 15th. Please remember  to bring in your donated baked goods or if your not culinary minded some donations to buy tasty treat!

All donations will go to 'Children in Need.'

Cakes can be bought from Mr. Fowler's Food room.

Tech Time 

The making of the Music Suite >

During a week in October, Students from all years came together during their lunch time to participate in Ernulf’s first ever Tech Time.

During this extra-curricular activity, students had the opportunity to learn and build computers for the new Music Tech suite using some of the latest technology on the market.

Halloween Disco >

Ernulf put on a spookily fantastic Halloween disco this week. Students pulled out all the stops with their costumes and dancing moves!

Author visit >

Ernulf was delighted to welcome Author, Ben Davis to the Academy. He completed workshops with year 7 and 8 students. 

The theme of the day was embarrassment and Ben spoke about how he was inspired by true events and people’s actions which he then exaggerated or developed for comedic effect.

Macmillian coffee afternoon >

On October 9th we held a coffee afternoon for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The afternoon was a great success, with plenty of tea, coffee and cake consumed and of course lots of money raised for this great charity.

We raised £489.16!

Costa Rica Scuba Expedition >

This Summer Ernulf Academy set off on their 5th Expedition with Camps International to the destination of Costa Rica. Students who attended have said it was a life-changing experience and would recommend everyone to not pass up an opportunity like it!
